Nintendo GameCube
Well.
We did something, somewhat spur of the moment but something we'd been thinking about doing for a while.
We purchased a Nintendo GameCube. Target had them for $89.99, price matched at Best Buy (because we get Best Buy frequent spender points), and spent the last 2 days filling out a sizeable collection of games.
Picked up the following:
Intellivision Lives
Mario Golf
Super Mario Sunshine
WarioWare Inc. Mega Party Game$
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
The Legend of Zelda Collector's Disc (featuring The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II, The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time, and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask)
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles
Eternal Darkness
Wave Race
Metroid Prime
Didn't pay more than $19.99 for any of these except for the Zelda Collector's Disc which I paid $40 for.
I totally want to get a couple of used Game Boy Advance systems and the requisite cables to hook them up to the GameCube so that we can play 4 play Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. I played a little bit of the single player mode and I must say that it is pretty average in single player, but I can tell that the multiplayer would be incredible. It's kind of an action RPG, a hack and slash but a bit more strategy than straight beat 'em ups. Let me know if any of you guys have Game Boy Advance systems if you're interested in getting in on some Crystal Chronicles multiplayer.
