Democracy Player post #2

Okay.

So I've used the Democracy Player a little bit, here's my reflections.

I REALLY. REALLY. REALLY REALLY like it.

That said.

It's buggy.

Granted, it's only version .8

But it's buggy. Know the main play button, on the bottom? Yeah, that doesn't work.

Yeah, exactly! How does that get through?

Also, the video status bar? Doesn't do anything.

I am NOT ragging on this program at all. It is absolutely fantastic, but right now it's buggy, so, John Mark, don't even try it. I know how you are, anything that isn't perfect drives you nuts and you'll never use it again. But this piece of software is just TOO GOOD AN IDEA to ignore because this version is buggy.

Fortunately, it's open source!

i haven't used it too much yet, but my first impression: it's itunes, without the music store. everything about it is exactly like itunes. i like it:) too often mac people try to make programs with their own "cool" skin, etc, and all it does is take up extra RAM and stick out like a sore thumb amongst all the suave, cool-looking apple-branded program windows. so as far as just general layout, it's nice. i haven't quite figured out how to use it, but i'll figure it out in a few minutes most likely. unless it's like windows where everything is confusing and nothing makes any sense!!!!!!!
